Encountering the Unseen • @ UCLA • spring 2019

Live performance collaboration with artist Susan Simpson, evolutionary biologist Felipe Zapata and musician Heather Lockie. Object-performance based visualizations and corresponding recorded voices, sounds and pitch clusters use a physical scatter plot sculpture inspired by the data collected surrounding the evolution of 6 species of the plant Escallonia.

Mesh June 2019, Iceland

Mesh is an experiment in collaboration, improvisation, and sound led by Clay Chaplin. We spent a month in a cabin in Iceland, improvising and making a piece that we performed at the end of the month at Mengi in Reykjavik.
